Sammanfattning: The Uppsala Romanticists, or The New School, was consisted of a group of male academics and some women outside the academy. They published their work in several (mostly monthly) magazines. The leading voice of The New School was Per Daniel Amadeus Atterbom (1790-1855). He expressed an apocalyptic enthusiasm for the insights of German philosophy with Schelling as its spokesman. Anti-Semitism is one of the tendencies in the texts, and the research project analyses how the writers used it.
