Sammanfattning: The dissertation makes an interpretation of The Metaphysics, four books written by the Danish theologian and philosopher K.E. Løgstrup at the end of his life. In a systematic way the dissertation describes a coherent vision of Løgstrups main theories in the books taken together as a whole. By a tripartite model the alalysis shows how the theories settle up with a worldview coined by the thinking of the theory of knowledge from Kant.From the renaissance until our days a broad movement fashions the western culture in a modern way. In a philosophical perspective the kantian "Copernican turn" is a decisive shift. An ontological and metaphysical thinking leaves room for scientific and epistemological attitudes.In this process the role of theology changes. Kant's criticism of metaphysics shows the practical reason and not the theoretical as the context of the question of God. Schleiermacher outlines a place for theology and God in the area of feeling. In similar manner different sorts of modern theology in many diverse ways underpin the faith of God as a foundationalism.The criticism of the epistemological thinking is radicalised by Marin Heidegger's theories of time and historicity. During the 20th century Heidegger's philosophy has a great impact on theology. In the analysis Heidegger is a second focus beside Kant and the problem of the time leads Løgstrup to a thinking of creation.The theology of Løgstrup puts fundamental questions at the utmost edge of knowledge. His thinking does not give the religion a room inside the modern paradigm but tries by phenomenological analysis to destabilize the modern grip on reality. The question of Kant is: How can we surely know? The problem of Løgstrup is instead: How can theology interpret the fundamental instability of knowledge? It means that God is not understood in a paradigm coined by theory of knowledge. The dissertation describes how theology must first try to find the edge where the understanding turns and apprehends its state of "wounded" understanding. By the Metaphysics Løgstrups theories of the sensation, reason and annihilation articulates wounds and instances that makes a humiliate understanding and sheds light on the question of God.,
