The aim of the first study was to investigate the prevalence of dizziness/balance disturbance and auditory symptoms, and relate this to self-rated general, psychosocial and mental health in a Swedish community sample (n=2547). 4. Cervical influence on dizziness and orientation
Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the work was to examine the influence of cervical biomechanical conditions on movement performance, to study musculoskeletal findings accompanying possible cervicogenic dizziness and to evaluate the influence of cervical proprioception on head orientation. Two devices, measuring cervical range of motion, were compared: Myrin, an inclinometer/compass method and Zebris®, a 3-dimensional ultrasound movement analyser. LÄS MER
5. Vascular dementia - classification and clinical correlates
Sammanfattning : During the period (1976-1995) a total of 175 consecutive patients (m 88/f 87) with neuropathologically verified vascular dementia (VaD) were examined. 22 patients with pure Alzheimer's Disease (AD) were also studied. All patients were diagnosed and followed at the Department of Psychogeriatrics (Lund University Hospital). LÄS MER
