  1. 21. Developing an ergonomics intervention technique model to support the participatory ergonomics process for improving work systems in organizations in an industrially developing country and its ‘Meta-Reflection'

    Författare :Faramarz Helali; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Industrial Work Environment; Industriell produktionsmiljö;

    Sammanfattning : The Ergonomics Intervention Programme (EIP) can be a means of guaranteeing the most efficient use of the labour force of an industrially developing country (IDC) by creating safe and appropriate working conditions. Many problems at work can be resolved with ergonomics intervention, but persist due to a lack of ergonomics awareness and ‘know-how', as well as poor social awareness in education. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Autonomy, coping and defense in small work groups : an analysis of psychological processes within and between individual group members

    Författare :Siv Boalt Boëthius; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; group work; group processes; stimulated recall; situation perception; frame factors; staff groups; day-care centers;

    Sammanfattning : Working together with other persons in a group is often stimulating, but it can sometimes cause blocking and be destructive for an individual member and/or the group as a whole. The aim of the present study is to describe and analyze how individual group members cope with specific situations and how this coping affects their degree of autonomy and the work of the group. 3. 23. Working technique during computer work Associations with biomechanical and psychological strain, neck and upper extremity musculoskeletal symptoms

    Författare :Agneta Lindegård Andersson; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Working technique; Computer users; Perceived exertion; Observation assessments;

    Sammanfattning : About 35 % of the working population in Sweden report that computer use accounts for 50% or more of their total working hours. Among this population approximately 40% of the women and 25% of the men experienced symptoms in the neck and/or upper extremities at least once a week during the preceding 3 month. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Novel Technique to Improve High-Velocity Cold Compaction : Processing of Polymer Powders and Polymer-Based Nanocomposite High Performance Components

    Författare :Bruska Azhdar; Bengt Stenberg; Leif Kari; Mikael Rigdahl; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; polymer powders; nanocomposites; high-velocity compaction; high-energy ball milling; Manufacturing engineering; Produktionsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Compaction of polymer powders and polymer-based nanocomposites by uniaxial high-velocity cold compaction (HVC), by high-energy ball milling (HEBM) and using a novel technique, relaxation assists, was investigated with a focus on the process parameters, the compactibility characteristics, surface morphology and friction. The basic phenomena associated with HVC are explained and the general energy principle is introduced to explain the pull-out phenomenon, springback gradient, delay time, relative time of the pressure wave, and stick-slip phenomenon during the compaction process. 5. 25. Work-related musculoskeletal disorders - exposure assessment and gender aspects

    Författare :Catarina Nordander; Avdelningen för arbets- och miljömedicin; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Skelett; Occupational health; Yrkesmedicin; industrial medicine; arbetsmiljömedicin; reumatologi; muskelsystem; rheumatology locomotion; muscle system; Skeleton; repetitive work; sex; occupational; myalgia; Surface EMG; muscular activity;

    Sammanfattning : Work-related musculoskeletal disorders are widespread, and are, for unclear reasons, more common among females than in males. Several risk factors have been described; constrained and awkward postures, repetitive and/or force demanding motions, and lack of recovery. LÄS MER
