    Sammanfattning : This thesis is concerned with adult L1 attrition in the case of highly-educated long-term Polish immigrants in Sweden. The study sheds light on two classical issues pertaining to L1 attrition, namely what happens to a fully developed mature language system in an immigrant context, and why it happens. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Introduction: Thanks to achievements in paediatric heart surgery and medicine, the population of adults with surgically repaired or palliated congenital heart defects is growing. Many of these adults have reduced exercise capacity, weaker muscular strength and shorter height, all of which suggest an altered body composition. LÄS MER

Their self-perceived oral health has been reported as being good, but rapid changes in society have led to a weaker economic situation for many young adults, which may influence their dental attendance and priorities concerning oral health and oral health care.     Sammanfattning : The thesis reports a follow-up study from eight years of age to adulthood for a group of students with dyslexic problems compared to a matched group of students without such problems. The empirical basis of the thesis is provided by the research project, Reading Development in Kronoberg, which has been supplemented by data from adulthood in the form of questionnaires, test results and interviews.
