    Sammanfattning : Aims: The overall aims were to evaluate the results of the treatment concepts for severe brain injury including decompressive craniectomy (DC), early rehabilitation and long-term follow-up, primarily according to the psychosocial consequences of the brain damage and life satisfaction. The first study was a cross-sectional study to assess and compare the consequences for outcome for two groups with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) or subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH), one group that received early, long-term formalised rehabilitation and the other that received late or no formalised rehabilitation.     Sammanfattning : Background: It has been proved that bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) saves lives; however, which training method in CPR is most instructive and whether survival is affected by the training level of the bystander have not yet been fully described. Aim: To identify the factors that may affect 7th grade students’ acquisition of CPR skills during CPR training and their willingness to act, and to describe 30-day survival from outof- hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) after bystander CPR and the actions performed by laymen versus off-duty medically educated personnel.     Sammanfattning : The cognitive models that research on conceptual change has generated have been the subject of criticism, suggesting that these reflect an unrealistic view of learning as an overly “cold” and isolated process. Accordingly, representatives of this criticism suggest that research on conceptual change should investigate to what extent the cold cognition relates to “warm” affective constructs. LÄS MER
