    Sammanfattning : We were interested in investigating the stabilisation behaviour of 6-aminouracils, a new class of heavy metal free thermo-stabiliser for PVC. We have therefore investigated the performance and mechanism of stabilisation for 1,3-dibutyl-6-aminouracil, both alone, and in combination with a sodium perchlorate co-stabiliser. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Increasingly stringent controls on metal concentrations in sewage sludge destined for agricultural application provided a basis for the study of the relevance of metal speciation in sewage sludge. A comprehensive literature review identified difficulties in relating metal speciation through single chemical extractions to plant uptake and soil toxicity. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis is a short review of six papers (Papers 1-6,page 5) concerning studies of enamines from 2-indanones. The unusually stable 2-(N-pyrrolidyl)indene has been studied (Paper 2 ). As a base catalyst this enamine rearranges 1-methylindene to 3-methylindene with a lower rate constant compared with triethylamine. LÄS MER
