21. Making Sense of Negative Numbers
Sammanfattning : Numbers are abstract objects that we conceptualize and make sense of through metaphors. When negative numbers appear in school mathematics, some properties of number sense related to natural numbers become contradictory. 23. Flipp i tal och handling : En fallstudie om undervisningsmetoden flipp i tre gymnasielärares tal och handling
Sammanfattning : Flipped Classroom (flipp) is described in both school and scientific contexts as a new teaching method where the individual pupil and her active learning is placed at the center and where lesson time to a greater extent is used for discussion and laboratory work, while information gathering takes place outside lesson time via ICT. Flipp has in recent years become widely spread in Sweden, which is why it is interesting to investigate flipp in a Swedish context. LÄS MER

25. What Can Nature Withstand? : Science, Politics and Discourses in Transboundary Air Pollution Diplomacy
Sammanfattning : Long-range transboundary air pollution generates pressing environmental problems such as the acidification of lakes and soils, forest decline and loss of biodiversity as well as threats to human health across Europe. The overall aim of this study is to explore the role of scientific expertise in environmental diplomacy by analyzing recent international agreements in the transboundary air pollution (LRTAP) regime.
