    Sammanfattning : The main purpose of this thesis is to focus on the children, by investigating whether various organisation models, integrated, interactiv and mixed co-operation, for co-operation between teachers and recreation instructors showed differences in regard to the children's development, well-being, and ability to absorb knowledge. Did various co-operation models for school/day centre affect the children's school performance, peer and adult relationship, well-being, and general school and day centre experiences? Were there any differences related to the school and living areas? Were there any differences between children with day centre experience, and those who had none when it comes to school subjects, school performance, well-being, self-confidence, and relations with friends? The children's best and worst memories from their day centres are also studied. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : År 1876 inrättades uppfostringsanstalten Hall utanför Södertälje. Anstalten var en av de första anstalterna i Sverige som tog emot pojkar i åldrarna 10-15 år som hade dömts i domstol till att insättas på uppfostringsanstalt. Dessutom tog Hall emot pojkar som låg i riskzonen för att bli brottsliga. LÄS MER

An additional aim is to study the meal patterns of children, including the school meal.An ethnological questionnaire with 192 informants was used to study people’s perceptions and memories of the school meal.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to investigate and analyze the categorization of children’s “problems” in comprehensive schools and the context in which the categorization is performed and used. A central question is: How are the children’s “problems” defined and formulated in the annual reports of the school health services for the school years 1944/45 to 1988/89? “Problems” in this context are illnesses, functional disabilities and other characteristics associated with what is perceived as the physical, psychical and social ill-health of a child.     Sammanfattning : Background: This thesis is was designed to evaluate aspects of reliability and validity of the School Version of the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (School AMPS) (Fisher, Bryze, Hume, & Griswold, 2007), an observation-based evaluation of quality of occupational performance when children perform schoolwork tasks in school settings. The long term goal was to contribute to knowledge about children at risk or with mild disabilities who experience difficulties with occupational performance in school settings, and describe how the School AMPS can be used when a true top−down process of planning and implementing school-based occupational therapy services is implemented in a Swedish context.
