    Sammanfattning : Semiconductor wafer bonding has been a subject of interestfor many years and a wide variety of wafer bonding techniqueshave been reported in literature. In adhesive wafer bondingorganic and inorganic adhesives are used as intermediatebonding material. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The Sacrificial Child in Maori Literature: Narratives of Redemption by Keri Hulme, Patricia Grace, Witi Ihimaera, and Alan Duff

    Författare :Ulrika Andersson; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Maori fiction; childhood studies; Keri Hulme; Patricia Grace; Witi Ihimaera; Alan Duff; sacrificial child; children in literature;

    Sammanfattning : This study is an examination of the theme of the sacrificial child in four of the most well-known novels by Maori authors published in the 1980s and 1990s: Keri Hulme’s The Bone People (1983), Patricia Grace’s Potiki (1986), Witi Ihimaera’s The Whale Rider (1987), and Alan Duff’s Once Were Warriors (1990). The motif of a special child whose death is the pivotal event of the narrative functions partly as a symbol of the destructive marginalization of the Maori people in colonial and postcolonial New Zealand, but it is also given a redemptive significance in that, in all the novels, the child’s death has the effect of healing and strengthening its community or family. 4. 4. Shaping Macroporous Ceramics : templated synthesis, X-ray tomography and permeability

    Författare :Linnéa Andersson; Lennart Bergström; Ludwig Gauckler; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Alumina; ceramic; CO2 capture; colloidal processing; expandable microspheres; gel casting; layer-by-layer; macroporosity; near-net shape; non-destructive evaluation; permeability; porosity; sacrificial templating; X-ray computed tomography; Chemistry; Kemi; Materials Chemistry; materialkemi;

    Sammanfattning : Macroporous ceramic materials have found widespread technological application ranging from particulate filters in diesel engines, tissue engineering scaffolds, and as support materials in carbon capture processes. This thesis demonstrates how the pore space of macroporous alumina can be manipulated, analysed in three-dimensions (3D) using visualisation techniques, and functionalised with a CO2-adsorbing material. 5. 5. Boplatser och offerplatser : ekonomisk strategi och boplatsmönster bland skogssamer 700-1600 AD

    Författare :Sven-Donald Hedman; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Sacrificial sites; settlement pattern; hearths; pastoralism; herding; semi nomadism; Saami; forest; Northern Sweden Lapland ; late Iron age;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis primarily discusses the development of late Iron Age Saami settlement patterns in greater Norrland's forest area, from the establishment of the Settlements through to historical times. The Settlements are chiefly characterised by hearths, but it is also important to study Saami sacrificial sites when trying to understand the significance of the settlement patterns. LÄS MER
