    Sammanfattning : Specific machines furnish the contemporary socio-technical imaginary: ‘Robot companions’ that supposedly herald the age of robots, an age that is signified by the realization of robot technologies that are taking over labor from humans in every sphere of ‘everyday human lives’. How do we want these robot companions to work and look and how do we want to live with these machines?  This thesis explores the engineering of relating humans and machines in the specific context of contemporary robotics from a queer feminist technoscience perspective. Sammanfattning : The school's digitalization is an ongoing process that brings new didactic opportunities, but also challenges. Social educational robots entail a complex teaching situation and affect the teacher's role, actions, and responsibilities in the classroom. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Hybrid Control of Multi-robot Systems under Complex Temporal Tasks

    Författare :Meng Guo; Dimos V. Dimarogonas; Karl Henrik Johansson; Calin Belta; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :Automatic Control; Multi-robot system; Linear Temporal Logic; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Autonomous robots like household service robots, self-driving cars and dronesare emerging as important parts of our daily lives in the near future. They need tocomprehend and fulfill complex tasks specified by the users with minimal humanintervention. Also they should be able to handle un-modeled changes and contingentevents in the workspace. Sammanfattning : We live in a complex world where we proactively plan and execute various behaviors by forming expectations in real time. Expectations are beliefs regarding the future state of affairs and they play an integral part of our perception, attention, and behavior. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Learning Behavior Trees for Collaborative Robotics

    Författare :Matteo Iovino; Christian Smith; Karinne Ramírez-Amaro; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Collaborative Robotics; Behavior Trees; Datalogi; Computer Science;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to address the challenge of generating task plans for robots in industry-relevant scenarios. With the increase in small-batch production, companies require robots to be reprogrammed frequently for new tasks. However, maintaining a team of operators with specific programming skills is only cost-efficient for large-scale production. LÄS MER
