3. Cyanoacetylation of indoles, pyrroles and amines, and synthetic uses of these products
Sammanfattning : This thesis is based on an organic synthetic project aimed towards development of small molecules acting on the P2 receptor as well as development of synthetic methods to such molecules (primarily indoles and featuring isatogens in particular). The new methodology includes cyanoacetylation of indoles, pyrroles, amines, and enamines using cyanoacetic acid in acetic anhydride. LÄS MER
4. Synthesis of indole and oxindole derivates incorporating pyrrolidino, pyrrolo or imidazolo moieties
Sammanfattning : The focus of this thesis is on the synthesis of oxindole- and indole-derivatives incorporating pyrrolidins, pyrroles or imidazoles moieties. Pyrrolidino-2-spiro-3'-oxindole derivatives have been prepared in high yielding three-component reactions between isatin, alpha-amino acid derivatives, and suitable dipolarophiles. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This thesis describes separate studies of high-energy Rydberg and ion-pair states in small molecules using resonant multi-photon ionisation spectroscopy. * OODR/REMPI study of ungerade Rydberg states in O2 The energy region between 75000 and 99900 cm-1 of O2 has been studied using optical-optical double resonance (OODR) with resonance enhanced multi-photon ionisation (REMPI).
