1. Bioelectronic Nanosensor Devices for Environmental and Biomedical Analysis
Sammanfattning : A new type of Bioelectronic Nanosensor Device with potential applications in medicine, biotechnology and environmental analysis was designed. The nanosensor is based on RISFET (Regional Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor) technology. LÄS MER
2. Improving Business Processes using Process-oriented Data Warehouse
Sammanfattning : The Business Process Management (BPM) lifecycle consists of four phases: design and analysis, configuration, enactment, and evaluation - also known as performance analysis and improvement. Performance analysis and improvement of business processes, one of the core phases in the BPM life cycle, is becoming on top of the agenda for many enterprises. LÄS MER
3. Investeringar i mindre och medelstora tillverkande företag : drivkrafter, struktur, process och beslut
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with investment issues in connection to growth and expansion related decision processes in small and medium-sized manufacturing companies. It focuses primarily on the empirical knowledge about the structure of the companies’ investments, the processes involved, and the investment behavior in this type of company. LÄS MER
4. Forever Young : Convolution Inequalities in Weighted Lorentz-type Spaces
Sammanfattning : This thesis is devoted to an investigation of boundedness of a general convolution operator between certain weighted Lorentz-type spaces with the aim of proving analogues of the Young convolution inequality for these spaces.Necessary and sufficient conditions on the kernel function are given, for which the convolution operator with the fixed kernel is bounded between a certain domain space and the weighted Lorentz space of type Gamma. 5. Capacitive Biosensor - A Tool for Ultrasensitive Analysis : Application in Clinical Analysis and Process Monitoring
Sammanfattning : Increasing demands for highly sensitive, accurate, fast and portable analytical assays have led to the development of new analytical tools. The integration of highly specific biological sensing elements and appropriate transducers has enabled design of even more efficient biosensor devices for the detection of target substances. LÄS MER
