    Sammanfattning : Rapeseed straw was fractionated through a hydrothermal process into its hemicellulose, lignin and cellulose components. In the first step, hemicellulose-rich fractions were extracted. Xylan-rich fractions with high molecular weight, 30,000 – 50,000 g/mol, were obtained at 110 °C and 1.5 M NaOH. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Several functional poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) additives were designed: PVC plasticizers made from renewable resources as alternatives to traditional phthalate plasticizers and core-shell nanoparticle-plasticizers with the aim to design an additive that can improve several mechanical properties simultaneously.     Sammanfattning : Wood hydrolysates (WHs) are liquids extracted from the hydrothermal treatment of wood. They exist as the byproduct of forestry industries such as the dissolving pulp and fiberboard industries. WHs are hemicellulose-based with a large share of lignin in the chemical composition.
