    Sammanfattning : The thesis examines accompanied asylum-seeking children’s position in Swedish asylum reception management and in the determination of their claims. The three articles of the thesis focus on children’s own experiences of seeking asylum, on the experiences and practices of the civil servants at the Migration Board, as well as those of the legal representatives that assist asylum-seekers in the application process.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with two series of radio programmes where listeners’ social and personal questions were answered on the air, broadcasted between 1939 and 1968. This is the period in Swedish history which is usually called the era of the folkhem (“The people’s home”) when social reforms, cultural radicalism and social planning – modernization in the cultural, political and material senses – became a broad project and ideology.
