2. Tunable superconducting resonators, subharmonic oscillations and manipulation of microwaves
Sammanfattning : In this thesis I present different types of manipulations of microwave fields using tunable superconducting resonators. A resonator is made tunable by adding one or more superconducting quantum interference devices, SQUIDs. 3. Photonic quantum information and experimental tests of foundations of quantum mechanics
Sammanfattning : Entanglement is a key resource in many quantum information schemes and in the last years the research on multi-qubit entanglement has drawn lots of attention. 5. Nanosecond tandem optical parametric oscillators for mid-infrared generation
Sammanfattning : This thesis discusses a new scheme for generating radiation in the mid infrared spectral region, especially the 3.5-5 µm range. The scheme uses established Nd3+-lasers at 1.06 µm and down conversion in nonlinear optical crystals. LÄS MER
