    Sammanfattning : Protective coloration such as aposematism and crypsis occurs in many insects but only a few species alter their defensive strategy during the same instar. We hypothesize the adult shield bug Graphosoma lineatum with an alternating black and non-melanised longitudinal striation exhibit such a change in defensive coloration. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Studies conducted on Lemma gibba in sterile nutrition medium with labelled indole-3-acetic acid (IAA-1- 14C), confirmed that IAA is highly photosensitive in aqueous solutions. About 80 % of the IAA was decarboxylated within 24 h of exposure to fluorescent light. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : AtPreP (Arabidopsis thaliana Presequence Protease) is a zink metallooligopeptidase that is dually targeted to both mitochondria and chloroplasts. In these organelles it functions as a peptidasome that degrades the N-terminal targeting peptides that are cleaved off from the mature protein after protein import, as well as other unstructured peptides.
