1. Barn i skola och fritidshem : en studie kring samverkan
Sammanfattning : The main purpose of this thesis is to focus on the children, by investigating whether various organisation models, integrated, interactiv and mixed co-operation, for co-operation between teachers and recreation instructors showed differences in regard to the children's development, well-being, and ability to absorb knowledge. Did various co-operation models for school/day centre affect the children's school performance, peer and adult relationship, well-being, and general school and day centre experiences? Were there any differences related to the school and living areas? Were there any differences between children with day centre experience, and those who had none when it comes to school subjects, school performance, well-being, self-confidence, and relations with friends? The children's best and worst memories from their day centres are also studied. LÄS MER
2. Parental involvement in school : What promotes and what hinders parental involvement in an urban school
Sammanfattning : Avhandlingens övergripande syfte är att förvärva kunskap om vad som främjar respektive vad som hindrar föräldrasamverkan i en grundskola med elever i skolåren 6-9 belägen i ett invandrartät område, samt nå en bättre förståelse av hur föräldrar med arabisk bakgrund och lärare ser på föräldrasamverkan i skolan. Ett ytterligare och besläktat syfte är att bättre förstå hur dessa föräldrar kan stödjas på ett sätt som möjliggör för dem att öka sin upplevelse av medverkan i den skola som deras barn går i. 4. Kulturell fostran : En didaktisk studie av talet om kulturella relationer i texter om skola och utbildning
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to clarify different ideas about cultural relations expressed in the Swedish curriculum, and the potential consequences they may have for children and young people to participate as peers in social and public life. Located at the intersection of a (neo)pragmatic curriculum theory tradition and cultural studies/critical pedagogy, the ambition with the study is two-folded: (1) to clarify the theoretical conditions for cultural relations from an ethnocentric, global, and multicultural perspective and (2) to elucidate and describe the curriculum historical preconditions for cultural relations.
