  1. 1. Affinity Two-Phase Partitioning of Liposomes and Membranes

    Författare :Irene Barinaga-Rementeria Ramírez; Biokemi och Strukturbiologi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; miniaturised two-phase system; levitated drop; biotin; avidin; antibody; immunoaffinity; purification; rat lung; rat liver; caveolae; membrane; Affinity two-phase partitioning; liposome; Metabolism; Biochemistry; Biokemi; metabolism;

    Sammanfattning : Affinity two-phase partitioning based on an immunoaffinity sandwich approach for the rapid and selective purification of membranes is presented in this thesis. The method was developed by studying different parameters governing the affinity partitioning of model membranes. To this end, biotinylated liposomes were used. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Miniaturised Bioanalytical Chemistry in Acoustically Levitated Droplets

    Författare :Sabina Santesson; Centrum för analys och syntes; []

    Sammanfattning : Fuelled by the current demands of the biological sciences, there is today a growing interest in microscale analysis. Miniaturisation of analytical instruments has become a long-standing trend. Miniaturisation offers several advantages, including rapid separation times, high performance and throughput, reduced costs, etc. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Amperometric Carbon Paste Biosensors Based on Horseradish Peroxidase and Oxidases

    Författare :Vijayakumar Rajendran; Centrum för analys och syntes; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Analytical chemistry; on-line monitoring; l-lactate; glucose; ethanol; Biosensor; Carbon paste; Analytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Amperometric carbon paste peroxide sensors based on horseradish peroxidase (HRP) were developed. In the first approach, HRP was chemically modified with polyethylene glycol to improve the stability of the enzyme in the organic paste matrix and compared with native HRP electrode. LÄS MER
