  1. 16. Recycling Potential and Design for Disassembly in Buildings

    Författare :Catarina Thormark; Institutionen för byggvetenskaper; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Arkitektur; interior design; Architecture; LCA; Environmental Assessment; Deconstruction; Disassembly; Design; Building Products; Recycling Potential; Recycling; Building Waste; inredningsarkitektur; Building construction; Byggnadsteknik; Environmental technology; pollution control; Miljöteknik; kontroll av utsläpp;

    Sammanfattning : Recycling as part of environmental considerations has become a common feature in architecture and building construction. Recycling of building waste can make a considerable contribution to reducing the total environmental impact of the building sector. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Att bo med soffa : en möbels betydelse för bostadens planering och livet i hemmet

    Författare :Birgitta Mitchell; Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; participatory design; interior design; house design; gender; lifestyle; sofa; home; Architecture; dwelling; Arkitektur; inredningsarkitektur;

    Sammanfattning : Experiences of participatory design with full-scale modelling in three case studies form the basis of this work. When the participants in these studies visualised their dwellings there was a strong focus on the sofa. This piece of furniture is one of the most common in Swedish homes. It also requires much space. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Toward a poetics of fibre art and design : aesthetic and acoustic qualities of hand-tufted materials in interior spatial design

    Författare :Kaja Tooming; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Fibre art; acoustics; interior design; hand tufting;

    Sammanfattning : This inquiry explores the aesthetic and acoustic qualities of fibre art and design. The goal is to understand how the manner of hand tufting, the selection of fibre materials, and the creation of two- and three-dimensional forms can work together to solve problems of interior design... 4. 19. Arkitekturens territorialitet : till en diskussion om territoriell makt och gestaltning i stadens offentliga rum

    Författare :Mattias Kärrholm; Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Physical planning; urban design; architectural design; actor-network theory; power relations; materiality; territorial control; everyday life; public space; Territoriality; architectural theory; Fysisk planering; Architecture; interior design; Arkitektur; inredningsarkitektur;

    Sammanfattning : The point of departure of this dissertation is a consideration of the problems in the field of architecture, of conceptualizing and addressing aspects of the complex relationship between architectural form and use. The aim of the thesis is to create conditions for a discussion on architectural design and territorial power relations within the context of everyday life, and more specifically to investigate what role architectural design plays in these territorial power relations. 5. 20. Supporting evidence-based design using lighting simulations : A framework for lighting simulation of visual comfort in building design

    Författare :Anahita Davoodi; Myriam Aries; Peter Johansson; Thorbjörn Laike; John Mardaljevic; Jönköping University; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Lighting quality; visual comfort; lighting simulation; evidence-based design; field study; post-occupancy evaluation; Ljuskvalitet; visuell komfort; ljussimulering; evidensbaserad design; fältstudie; brukarutvärderingar;

    Sammanfattning : This research aims to integrate lighting simulation into the evidence-based design process for achieving improved lighting outcomes in built environments with a particular emphasis on visual comfort analysis in office settings. The objectives of the study include 1) understanding the current usage of lighting simulation tools, learning designers’ experiences' and needs, 2) providing a conceptual framework to integrate the use of lighting simulation in the evidence-based design (EBD) process, 3) testing the usage of the conceptual framework (named EBD-SIM) through two field studies.
