    Sammanfattning : The thesis includes the studies of two phenomena related to continuous casting. One subject is the inclusion motion in the submerged entry nozzle (SEN) and mold when using a swirl flow. In 2006, the total amount of slag produced reached approximately 1 375 000 metric tons, of which 30% was deposited.
