    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to investigate how compulsary treatment of alcohol abuse is experienced by persons forced to submit to it, the majority of whom are negative in their attitude toward treatment of this sort.     Sammanfattning : The main purpose was to investigate children's participation in the decision-making processes in health care. Twenty-four children (0-18 år)admitted to hospital, their parents, and the staff present were observed during totally 135 hours in order to (i) identify the children's needs, (ii) their participation in the decision-making processes, and (iii) their parents' participation.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to discuss the two theologic anthropological concepts microcosm and steward within the World Council of Churches project called the JPIC-process - their JPIC stands for justice, peace and the integrity of creation - and to relate the two anthropological concepts to each other using a theological correlation method. After an introduction the JPIC-process, which officially took place between the General Assembly in Vancouver 1983 and the General Assembly in Canberra 1991 is described with special concern for the third sub theme the integrity of creation, and also critically analysed.     Sammanfattning : The research interests address a need for knowledge regarding the importance of 'acts of caring' for a caritative approach when performing tasks in the care of the elderly. The overall aim of the research was to deepen the understanding of ethics and describe the actions and habits that are important in the 'acts of caring' for both patients and caregivers in relation to the caritative nursing and ethics of care relevant to the caritative care theory.     Sammanfattning : The dissertation focuses on the Haredi (ultra-orthodox Jewish) journal The Jewish Observer, published since 1963 by Agudath Israel of America, suggesting that the publisher uses the journal as an instrument to help the readers to maintain a distinct Haredi identity in urban, non-Haredi environments and not only in their own, isolated milieu. The articles of the journal are understood as resources, aiming to help the readers to consider themselves to be members of an »imagined ghetto». LÄS MER
