  2. 2. Chemical Vapour Deposition of Undoped and Oxygen Doped Copper (I) Nitride

    Författare :Anna Fallberg; Jan-Otto Carlsson; Mikael Ottosson; Kwang-Leong Choy; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemical vapour deposition; copper hexafluoroacetylacetonate; copper I nitride; copper I oxide; multilayers; oxygen doping; Organic chemistry; Organisk kemi; Inorganic Chemistry; oorganisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : In science and technology there is a steadily increased demand of new materials and new materials production processes since they create new application areas as well as improved production technology and economy. This thesis includes development and studies of a chemical vapour deposition (CVD) process for growth of thin films of the metastable material copper nitride, Cu3N, which is a semiconductor and decomposes at around 300 oC. 3. 3. Screening of oxygen-carrier particles based on iron-, manganese-, copper- and nickel oxides for use in chemical-looping technologies

    Författare :Marcus Johansson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Oxygen Carrier; Carbon Dioxide Capture; Chemical-Looping Combustion; Chemical-Looping Reforming; Nickel Oxide; Iron Oxide; Copper Oxide; Manganese Oxide;

    Sammanfattning : Capture and storage of carbon dioxide from combustion will likely be used in the future as a method of reducing emissions of greenhouse gases and thus be part of the overall strategy to stabilize the atmospheric levels of CO2. Chemical-looping combustion is a method of combustion where CO2 is inherently separated from the non-condensable components in the flue gas without the need for an energy intensive air separation unit. 4. 4. Molecular studies of initial atmospheric corrosion of copper : Exploration of ultra-sensitive techniques for the inhibiting effect of self assembled monolayers, and the effect of gamma radiation

    Författare :Saman Hosseinpour; Christofer Leygraf; Franz Geiger; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Corrosion; copper; self assembled monolayer; sum frequency spectroscopy; qcm; gamma radiation;

    Sammanfattning : Atmospheric corrosion indoors is of great practical importance for the degradation of metals, for example in electronics, military equipment, and cultural heritage items. It involves a wide range of chemical, electrochemical, and physical processes occurring in gas, liquid, and solid phases, and at the interfaces between them. LÄS MER
