    Sammanfattning : Sweden is often described as a country with a strong welfare state and little voluntary work. This is as would be expected according to substitution theory, in which extensive welfare systems are assumed to crowd out voluntary activity and thereby limit the potential for voluntary work – there is an inverse relationship between voluntary and statutory activity. 3. 3. Information Worker Productivity Enabled by IT System Usage A Complementary-Based Approach

  5. 5. Quantum optics in constrained geometries

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Björn Hessmo; Uppsala universitet.; [2000]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Quantum chemistry; quantum optics; atom optics; complementarity; magnetic traps; laser cooling; quantum information; quantal phases; Kvantkemi; NATURAL SCIENCES Chemistry Theoretical chemistry Quantum chemistry; NATURVETENSKAP Kemi Teoretisk kemi Kvantkemi; Quantum Chemistry; kvantkemi;

    Sammanfattning : When light exhibits particle properties, and when matter exhibits wave properties quantum mechanics is needed to describe physical phenomena. A two-photon source produces nonmaximally entangled photon pairs when the source is small enough to diffract light. It is shown that diffraction degrades the entanglement. LÄS MER
