    Sammanfattning : The modal share of bicycle traffic in Stockholm increased from 20 per cent to over 30 per cent during the 1930s, and reached staggering levels during World War Two – peaking at over 70 per cent. Soon after the war, however, the share declined rapidly. LÄS MER

However, air pollution is understudied in the SSA region, resulting in a gap in the scientific understanding of regional emissions, source contributions, and impacts of air pollutants on regional climate and health.     Sammanfattning : With the increasing trends in trade of goods and services as well as the expansion of road infrastructure and networks, commercial road transport has dominated a significant share of inland and urban logistics in the world and particularly in Europe. This includes not only the basic supply of citizens’ needs through long-haul traffic and short-distance city trucks but also by providing urban services such as courier delivery, household waste  pickup and refuse collection as well as passengers movements by public bus transport and inter-city coach transit.
