  1. 1. Model categories, pro-categories and functors

    Författare :Thomas Blom; Gregory Arone; Denis-Charles Cisinski; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Homotopy theory; Quillen model categories; Pro-categories; Enriched categories; Goodwillie calculus; matematik; Mathematics;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of five papers. The first three are concerned with various model structures on ind- and pro-categories, while the last two are concerned with the homotopy theory of functors.In Paper I, a general method for constructing simplicial model structures on ind- and pro-categories is described and its basic properties are studied. Sammanfattning : This PhD thesis consists in a collection of three papers on Koszul duality of categories and on an analogue of the Sullivan-Wilkerson theorem for relative CW-complexes.In Paper I, we define a general notion of Koszul dual in the context of a monoidal biclosed model category. 4. 4. L’acquisition des Catégories Fonctionnelles : Étude comparative du développement du DP français chez des enfants et des apprenants adultes

    Författare :Jonas Granfeldt; Franska; []

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the development of the DP (the Determiner Phrase) in bilingual first (2L1) and in adult second (L2) language acquisition of French. The thesis shows that the children and the adult Swedish learners acquire syntactic categories differently: the children follow a structural economy principle in positing as small categories as possible (Rizzi, 1998).
