  1. 1. Configuration Design of a High Performance and Responsive Manufacturing System : Modeling and Evaluation

    Författare :Daniel Tesfamariam Semere; Bengt Lindberg; Bolmsjö Gunnar; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Configuration; Modeling; Evaluation; Manufacturing engineering; Produktionsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Configuring and reconfiguring a manufacturing system is presented as an issue with increasing importance due to higher frequency of system configuration or major reconfigurations to accommodate new set of requirements and/or the need to configure the system to make it usable across generations of products or product families. This research has focused in the modeling, evaluation and selection decisions which involves multiple, incommensurate and conflicting objectives. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Disaster medicine- performance indicators, information support and documentation : A study of an evaluation tool

    Författare :Anders Rüter; Thore Wikström; Maaret Castrén; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; disaster medicine; performance indicators; evaluation; information system; documentation; staff skills; command and control; management; Diasaster medicine; Katastrofmedicin;

    Sammanfattning : The science of disaster medicine is more a descriptive than analytical type. Research, in most instances, has not employed quantitative methods and there is very sparse knowledge based on analytical statistics. One consequence of this is that similar mistakes are repeated over and over. Lessons that should be learned are merely observed. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Methodology for evaluation of hazards from solid waste and landfill-generated leachate

    Författare :Britt-Marie Svensson; Lennart Mathiasson; Lennart Mårtensson; Ann-Sofi Rehnstam-Holm; Kenneth M. Persson; Högskolan Kristianstad; []
    Nyckelord :NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Analytical protocol; organic pollutants; toxicity test; landfill leachate; leachate treatment; leaching test; waste acceptance criteria; Chemistry; Kemi; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; leaching test; waste acceptance criteria.;

    Sammanfattning : A methodology based on an analytical protocol for evaluation of hazards from landfill leachate and solid waste is described. A dynamic analytical protocol, the LAQUA protocol, including measurements of inorganic and water-quality parameters, polar and non-polar organic marker compounds, and toxicity, was constructed. 5. 5. Development and Evaluation of a Denuder-Filter System Designed for Sampling Diisocyanate Aerosols

    Författare :Yvonne Nordqvist; Ulrika Nilsson; Peter Haglund; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Cylindrical denuder; Diisocyanate; TDI; HDI; IPDI; MDI; Chemosorption; Vapour particle distribution; Aerosol sampling; Analytical chemistry; Analytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : There are many occupational environments in which isocyanates or PUR-products are used, produced or processed. During these operations there is always a risk of isocyanate exposure, which may lead to severe health problems. Isocyanates principally affect the respiratory system and they are the main cause of occupational asthma. LÄS MER
