    Sammanfattning : The requirements for next-generation wireless communications networks, particularly fifth-generation (5G) and beyond, are driven by at least three broad use cases. These include enhanced mobile broadband services to support extremely high data rates in terms of network or per user in both uplink and downlink, massive machine-type communications to accommodate massive internet-of-things applications, and critical machine-type communications to handle mission-critical applications that require ultra-high reliability and low latency.     Sammanfattning : Topics in source and channel coding for audiovisual communication systems are studied. The goal of source coding is to represent a source with the lowest possible rate to achieve a particular distortion, or with the lowest possible distortion at a given rate. The problems can be caused by any part of the propulsion system as well as any combination of the sub systems. Its architecture was however designed to enable efficient point-to-point delivery of bulk data, and can not provide statistical guarantees on the timely delivery of delay sensitive data such as streaming and real-time multimedia.
