  1. 1. Macrophages, Nitric oxide synthases and Heme oxygenases: possible roles during peripheral nerve regeneration

    Författare :Sofia Magnusson; Biologiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; satellite cells; peripheral ganglia; cell signalling; nerve regeneration; heme oxygenase; Macrophages; nitric oxide synthase; Animal physiology; Djurfysiologi;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to investigate the suggestions that macrophages, and the systems generating nitric oxide (NO) and carbon monoxide (CO), i.e. nitric oxide synthases (NOS) and heme oxygenases (HO), could be important for peripheral nerve regeneration. LÄS MER

  2. 2. The Role of Fc gamma Receptors and Mast Cell Chymase in Autoimmune Arthritis

    Författare :Sofia Magnusson; Sandra Kleinau; Jeanette Leusen; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; fc gamma receptors; rheumatoid arthritis; antibodies; mast cells; mast cell; Immunology; Immunologi; Immunologi; Immunology;

    Sammanfattning : In autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), self-reactive antibodies are present at high levels, which contributes to disease pathogenesis. The antibodies mediate their effect predominantly by binding to Fc gamma receptors (FcγR) on various leukocytes, such as monocytes, macrophages and mast cells, where FcγR ligation leads to cell activation. 3. 3. Turning to Europe : A New Swedish Industrial Relations Regime in the 1990s

    Författare :Sofia Murhem; Lars Magnusson; Niklas Bruun; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Economic history; Industrial relations; service sector; small enterprises; telecommunications sector; metal industry; trade unions; employers’ associations; Europeanization; Sweden; Ekonomisk historia; Economic history; Ekonomisk historia;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation explores the transformation of the industrial relations regime in Sweden during the 1990s. Four areas are studied; industrial relations of the growing service sector, industrial relations of small enterprises, effects of re-regulation and introduction of competition on industrial relations in telecommunications service and internationalisation of industrial relations in the metal sector, showing that in the 1990s, the labour market regime of Sweden changed into a new regime, as a result of altered conditions caused by the third industrial revolution. 4. 4. Decision-making and decision support connected to biogas use in Sweden

    Författare :Sofia Dahlgren; Stefan Anderberg; Thomas Magnusson; Jonas Ammenberg; Iva Ridjan Skov; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Human activities cause many sustainability challenges in the world, which need to be dealt with. One way to decrease the negative impacts related to those challenges is by replacing currently dominating technologies with better, alternative technologies. LÄS MER

  5. 5. The role of biogas in a more sustainable energy system in Sweden
