  1. 1. Illegal yet Licit : Justifying Informal Purchases of Work in Contemporary Sweden

    Författare :Lotta Björklund Larsen; Christina Garsten; Michael Blim; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; service economy; informal work; reciprocity; justification; tax; Sweden; Social anthropology; Socialantropologi; Social Anthropology; socialantropologi;

    Sammanfattning : Svart arbete, informal purchases of work, is a widely debated societal phenomenon in Sweden. It is often seen as detrimental to contemporary welfare society, eroding taxpaying morals, fair competition and solidarity with fellow citizens. Acknowledged as wrong, it is in many instances also an acceptable and commonplace exchange practice. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Distribution, total number and size of different types of fibres in male and female skeletal muscles : an enzyme histochemical study of whole muscle cross-sections

    Författare :Karin Henriksson-Larsén; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Muscle biopsy; human; enzyme histochemistry;

    Sammanfattning : In order to investigate the total number, relative proportions, size variations and distribution patterns of fibres of different types in human skeletal muscles, a technique was developed which allows whole muscle cross-sections to be collected and stained enzyme histochemically. Necropsy material was obtained from m. tibialis anterior and m. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Fabricating designed fullerene nanostructures for functional electronic devices

    Författare :Christian Larsen; Ludvig Edman; René Janssen; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Organic electronics; Organic field-effect transistor; Organic photovoltaics; Fullerene C60; PCBM; Photochemical transformation; Resist-free lithography; C60 Nanorod; Solution processable; nanomaterials; nanomaterial; Physical Chemistry; fysikalisk kemi; fysik; Physics; Materials Science; materialvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : A long-term goal within the field of organic electronics has been to developflexible and functional devices, which can be processed and patterned withlow-cost and energy-efficient solution-based methods. This thesis presents anumber of functional paths towards the attainment of this goal via thedevelopment and demonstration of novel fabrication and patterningmethods involving the important organic-semiconductor family termedfullerenes. 5. 5. Fluxes of Sensible and Latent Heat and Carbon Dioxide in the Marine Atmospheric Boundary Layer

    Författare :Erik Sahlée; Ann-Sofi Smedman; Anna Rutgersson; Sören Larsen; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Meteorology; Sensible heat flux; Latent heat flux; Carbon dioxide; Turbulent exchange; Global heat fluxes; Marine boundary layer; Air-sea interaction; Meteorologi;

    Sammanfattning : Oceans cover about 70% of the earth’s surface. They are the largest source of the atmospheric water vapour and act as enormous heat reservoirs. Thus in order to predict the future weather and climate it is of great importance to understand the processes governing the exchange of water vapour and heat between the ocean and atmosphere. LÄS MER
