  1. 1. On Robust Steering Based Lateral Control of Longer and Heavier Commercial Vehicles

    Författare :Maliheh Sadeghi Kati; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Rearward Amplification; static output feedback; Commercial vehicles; LMI-based H ∞ synthesis; Dynamic Feed-forward; Robust Control;

    Sammanfattning : Rapid growth in the transportation of goods has led to raised concerns about environmental effects, road freight traffic, and increased infrastructure usage. The increasing cost of fuel, and issues with congestions and gas emissions, make longer and heavier commercial vehicles (LHCVs) an attractive alter- native to conventional heavy vehicles. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Steering Based Lateral Performance Control of Long Heavy Vehicle Combinations

    Författare :Sogol Kharrazi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Trailer Swing; Active Steering; Offtracking; Heavy Vehicle; Lateral Performance; Sine with Dwell; Accident Analysis; Longer Combination Vehicle; Rearward Amplification;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis the lateral performance of heavy vehicle combinations, specifically longer combination vehicles, is discussed. The use of longer combination vehicles is promoted by their positive impact on the traffic congestion problem, as well as their economic and environmental benefits due to reduced fuel consumption and emissions. 3. 3. Performance Assessment of Long Combination Vehicles using Naturalistic Driving Data

    Författare :Abhijeet Behera; Sogol Kharrazi; Erik Frisk; Mats Jonasson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : The deployment of long combination vehicles (LCVs) is currently in progress in Sweden. LCV refers to heavy vehicles that are longer than 25.25 m, which is the conventional length limit in Swedish regulations. LCVs reduce operational costs, improve fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emission per ton-km. LÄS MER
