1. Ungdomsarbetslösheten - om övergångsregimer, institutionell förändring och socialt kapital
Sammanfattning : Youth unemployment in Sweden has reached record levels during the first decade of the 21st century. In 1970, the unemployment rate for 20-24 year olds was approximately 2%. Now, forty years later, this rate has risen to 20%. Relative youth unemployment (youth unemployment in relation to unemployment for the 25-64 year olds) has also risen. LÄS MER
2. The United Nations Reformed : Responsibility, Protection and the Standing of States
Sammanfattning : This study is about reform of the United Nations. The study does not address reform proposals that set out to change the organizational structure of the UN, but focuses on initiatives that affect the normative basis of the international society that the United Nations and the UN Charter enable and sustain. 3. Fast-Neutron Tomography using a Mobile Neutron Generator for Assessment of Steam-Water Distributions in Two-Phase Flows
Sammanfattning : This thesis describes the measurement technique of fast-neutron tomography for assessing spatial distributions of steam and water in two-phase flows. This so-called void distribution is of importance both for safe operation and for efficient use of the fuel in light water reactors, which compose the majority of the world’s commercial nuclear reactors. 4. Optimization of Equipment for Tomographic Measurements of Void Distributions using Fast Neutrons
Sammanfattning : This licentiate thesis describes a novel nondestructive measuring technique for determiningspatial distributions of two-phase water flows. In Boiling Water Reactors, which compose themajority of the world's commercial nuclear reactors, this so called void distribution is of importance for safe operation. LÄS MER
5. Development of a Methodology for Detecting Coolant Void in Lead-cooled Fast Reactors by Means of Neutron Measurements
Sammanfattning : In a lead-cooled fast reactor (LFR), small bubbles (in the order of one mm or less) may enter the coolant from a leaking steam generator. If such a leakage is undetected the small bubbles may eventually coalesce into a larger bubble in local stagnation zones under the active core. LÄS MER
