1. TRAF6, a key regulator of TGFβ-induced oncogenesis in prostate cancer
Sammanfattning : Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with the incidence rapidly increasing in Europe over the past two decades. Reliable biomarkers for prostate cancer are currently unavailable. Thus, there is an urgent need for improved biomarkers to diagnose prostate cancer at an early stage and to determine the best treatment options. LÄS MER
2. TRAF6 stimulates TGFβ-induced oncogenic signal transduction in cancer cells
Sammanfattning : Prostate cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in men worldwide, with 10,000 new cases/year diagnosed in Sweden. In this context, there is an urgent need to identify new biomarkers to detect prostate cancer at an initial stage for earlier treatment intervention. LÄS MER
3. The life and death of the notch intracellular domain
Sammanfattning : The Notch signaling pathway is an evolutionarily conserved way of communicating between cells that contact each other. Notch is a single-transmembrane spanning receptor that interacts with single-transmembrane spanning ligands on adjacent cells. In vertebrates the Notch family of receptor consists of four members: Notch1 to Notch4. LÄS MER
4. Requirement and Availability of Scarce Metals for Fuel-Cell and Battery Electric Vehicles
Sammanfattning : Battery and fuel-cell electric vehicles (EVs) are considered as a means to meet some of the environmental and resource challenges of todays road vehicle system. EVs have the potential for zero tailpipe emissions as well as an energy efficiency higher than internal combustion engine vehicles and they can be flexible concerning primary energy source. LÄS MER
5. Notch signalling in carcinogenesis : With special emphasis on T-cell lymphoma and colorectal cancer
Sammanfattning : The Notch signalling pathway is an evolutionary conserved pathway, named after the Notch receptors, Notch1-4 in mammals, which upon cell-cell contact and ligand binding releases the intracellular domain (NICD). NICD translocates into the nucleus where it binds the transcriptional repressor RBP-Jk, which together with co-activators belonging to the Mastermind-like family of proteins form a transcriptional activation complex.
