Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to examine the style of the Swedish entertainer Povel Ramel (1922-2007) as a composer and lyricist of popular songs, and to elucidate his relation to the older popular music culture, denoted "the age of melody". In the main part of the study the author analyses more than 80 works by Ramel, which he created in the 1950s and 60s. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This study describes the role of organ sounds in musical performance and exa- mines the visions and artistic perspectives of the voicer, who creates the sounds, and the organist, who uses them in performance.
