  1. 1. Fundamental Studies on Molecularly Imprinted Materials

    Författare :Kerstin Golker; Ian A. Nicholls; Ken J. Shea; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemometrics; molecular dynamics; molecularly imprinted polymer; molecular imprinting; morphology; polymer; principal component analysis;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis focuses on fundamental studies aimed at elucidating factors that influence molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) formation and ligand recognition. To this end, a series of computational techniques, in particular chemometrics and molecular dynamics (MD) in conjunction with polymer synthesis and physical characterization studies have been employed. Författare :Tripta Kamra; Synkrotronljusfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are artificial receptors made by imprinting template molecules in a polymer matrix followed by their removal through washing to obtain a specific and selective template cavities. This property of the MIPs have made them a very efficient material for diverse applications such as chromatography, purification, drug sensing, etc. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Molecularly Imprinted Polymer Beads-Synthesis, Evaluation and Applications

    Författare :Tongchang Zhou; Tillämpad biokemi; []
    Nyckelord :Molecularly imprinted polymer beads; Pickering emulsion; RAFT; water-compatible;

    Sammanfattning : Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are artificial receptors designed for the selective recognition of template molecules. These polymers have been applied in analytical separations, as chemical sensors and in drug delivery system due to their low cost and high stability. LÄS MER

    Författare :Anne-Sophie Belmont; Tillämpad biokemi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; biopolymers; Polymer technology; Biokemisk teknik; Biochemical technology; Nanostructures; Synthetic Receptors; Optical Sensors; Molecular Imprinting; Polymer; Polymerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, polymerisation techniques or deposition methods have been developed permitting the creation of thin molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) films or patterns and their interfacing with transducer surfaces for biosensor applications. The creation of ultra thin films has been achieved using two different techniques, spin-coating and in-situ polymerization of thin films of monomers containing a sacrificial polymeric porogen, and autoassembly of MIP nanoparticles with the aid of an associative linear polymer.
