  1. 1. Water and alkali salts in the hydrating and hardened green cement-based materials: Hydration process, moisture content and transport

    Författare :Liming Huang; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Formation factor; Electrical conductivity; Moisture transport; Pore structure; Sustainable cement-based materials; Hydration; Alkali salts; Supplementary cementitious materials;

    Sammanfattning : Reducing CO2 emissions in the production of cementitious binder is the most effective way to decrease the environmental impact of the construction industry, so a large amount of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) has been used in the green concrete. Both the SCMs and alkali salts in binders influence the hydration process and the structure in hardened cement-based materials. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : In the modern practice, a sustainable development strategy in a domain of wasteutilization is shifting its focus from a general completeness of recycling to a morespecific attention to efficiently utilize elements in the wastes. This is well-illustrated bythe steelmaking slag industries. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Reuse of construction materials : Environmental performance and assessment methodology

    Författare :Liselott Roth; Mats Eklund; Helge Brattebø; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Environment; societal industrial ecology SIE ; reuse of construction materials; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : Reuse is a measure for resource-saving materials and energy use, which is stressed in the concept of kretsloppsanpassning, or societal industrial ecology (SIE), as it will be termed in this thesis. Reuse is here used as a general term for any kind of reuse and divided into recirculation, upgrading and cascading, according to the degradation of the inner material structure. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Viscoelastic Materials : Identification and Experiment Design

    Författare :Agnes Rensfelt; Torsten Söderström; Händel Peter; Uppsala universitet; []
