    Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to explore the possibilities of an adequate understanding of time by discussing concepts of time (and eternity) as they appear in church texts, theological thinking, and natural science from the Newtonian era to modern physics.     Sammanfattning : The thesis provides a discussion of the ecclesiology of the French Roman-Catholic theologian Henri de Lubac SJ (1896-1991) by showing how this is determined by his method of fundamental theology. I establish the term ?fundamental ecclesiology? for this inter-dependance of form and content, subject and object in theology; this is why his ecclesiology is sacramental in structure. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : As a co-author of the Formula of Concord, Martin Chemnitz (1522-86) codified the sola scriptura principle of the Reformation, that the prophetic and apostolic Scriptures are the only rule for all Church doctrine. This principle is clearly expressed in Chemnitz' own theological treatises as well, but in his argumentation one is also confronted with an astonishing number of quotations from the Church Fathers.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to discuss the two theologic anthropological concepts microcosm and steward within the World Council of Churches project called the JPIC-process - their JPIC stands for justice, peace and the integrity of creation - and to relate the two anthropological concepts to each other using a theological correlation method. After an introduction the JPIC-process, which officially took place between the General Assembly in Vancouver 1983 and the General Assembly in Canberra 1991 is described with special concern for the third sub theme the integrity of creation, and also critically analysed.
