3. Making travel sustainable with ICT? : The social practice of travel planning and travel information use in everyday life
Sammanfattning : Adopting the perspective of the traveller, this thesis examines how travel plans are actually made in the everyday situation and how information is used and drawn on when planning the many, often unremarkable, trips of ordinary urban life. Ethnographical field studies in southern Stockholm, Sweden, employing a practice theory perspective showed that people use a vast mixture of different types of information when planning and making trips. 4. Life satisfaction in late life: Markers and predictors of level and change among 80+ year olds
Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the thesis was to examine within-individual and between-individual changes in life satisfaction in the oldest-old using different time metrics and to study life satisfaction within the context of psychosocial and health-related variables. Data were obtained from the Swedish OCTO-Twin Study of individuals aged 80 and older who were able to complete the Life Satisfaction Index-Z (LSI-Z). LÄS MER
5. Executive dysfunctions in elderly persons with mild stroke
Sammanfattning : ABSTRACT The overall aim of this thesis was to examine the performance of personal activities of daily living (P-ADL) related to cognitive and executive dysfunctions in elderly patients with mild stroke in the acute care and after 12 months, and to evaluate the instrument Executive Function Performance Test (EFPT) in persons with mild stroke.
