  1. 1. Polymer-Nanoparticle Hybrid Materials for Plasmonic Hydrogen Detection

    Författare :Iwan Darmadi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; hydrogen; nanofabrication; hybrid material; nanocomposite; polymer; alloy; sensor; nanoplasmonic; palladium;

    Sammanfattning : Plasmonic metal nanoparticles and polymer materials have independently undergone rapid development during the last two decades. More recently, it has been realized that combining these two systems in a hybrid or nanocomposite material comprised of plasmonically active metal nanoparticles dispersed in a polymer matrix leads to systems that exhibit fascinating properties, and some first attempts had been made to exploit them for optical spectroscopy, solar cells or even pure art.     Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; High-voltage direct current HVDC ; hybrid alternate-common arm converter HACC ; hybrid converters; line-commutated converters LCCs ; modular multilevel converters MMCs ; thyristors; Hybrid alternate-common-arm converter HACC ; hybrid omvandlare; högspänd likströmsöverföring HVDC ; linjekommuterade omvandlare LCC ; modulära multinivåomvandlare MMC ; tyristorer; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The line-commutated converter (LCC) and the voltage-source converter (VSC) are the two main converter technologies utilized in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission applications. Depending on the application requirements, one technology might be more advantageous than the other. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Industrial Digital Fabrication Using Inkjet Technology

    Författare :Ingo Reinhold; Carl-Mikael Zetterling; Matti Mäntysalo; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; inkjet printing; droplet formation; digital fabrication; sintering; nanoparticles; printed electronics; Industrial Information and Control Systems; Industriella informations- och styrsystem; Media Technology; Medieteknik; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Sammanfattning : The use of acoustic waves initiated by the deformation of a microchannel is one method for generating monodisperse, micrometer-sized droplets from small orifices and is employed in piezo-electric inkjet printheads. These printheads are used in both graphical printing and digital fabrication, where functionalities, such as optical, biological, electrical or mechanical, are being produced locally. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Study of a Pneumatic Hybrid aided by a FPGA Controlled Free Valve Technology System

    Författare :Sasa Trajkovic; Förbränningsmotorer; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Compressor; Air-motor; Pneuamtc; Pneumatic-hybrid; VVT; Valve; regenerative; Hybrid; Air;

    Sammanfattning : Urban traffic involves frequent acceleration and deceleration. During deceleration, the energy previously used to accelerate the vehicle is mainly wasted on heat generated by the friction brakes. If this energy that is wasted in traditional IC engines could be saved, the fuel economy would improve. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Hybrid nano titania: molecular formation mechanisms and applications in nanotechnology

    Författare :Fredric Svensson; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Nanomaterials are defined as materials with one dimension smaller than 100 nm. At this size, exotic properties start to emerge, making them interesting for a wide range of applications including catalysis, electronics, theranostics, and “smart materials”. LÄS MER
