  1. 1. Contributions to Asynchronous Communication Ports for GALS Systems

    Författare :Jonas Carlsson; Juha Plosila; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; GALS; Asynchronous; Asynchronous communication ports; Clock gating; Clock domains; Electronics; Elektronik;

    Sammanfattning : Digital systems commonly use a single global clock signal to synchronize the whole system. This is not always possible and it can be more advantageously to divide the system into separate clock domains, where each clock domain can operate with its own clock frequency. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Radio and Sensor Interfaces for Energy-autonomous Wireless Sensing

    Författare :Jia Mao; Lirong Zheng; Zhuo Zou; Markku Åberg; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Ultra-wideband; asymmetric UHF UWB radio; clock harvesting; time-domain sensing; energy efficiency; Internet-of-things; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Sammanfattning : Along with rapid development of sensing and communication technology, Internet of Things (IoTs) has enabled a tremendous number of applications in health care, agriculture, and industry. As the fundamental element, the wireless sensing node, such as radio tags need to be operating under micro power level for energy autonomy. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Power Estimation and Multi-Phase Clock Generation for the Deep Submicron Era

    Författare :Daniel Eckerbert; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Scaling has been the driving force behind the immense development the field of electronics has seen over the last few decades. It has brought us from integrated circuits operating in the kilohertz range in the 1970s to the gigahertz range in just thirty years. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Crosstalk between environmental signals and 3d genome organization in the regulation of gene expression

    Författare :Anna Lewandowska Ronnegren; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis explores the connection between environmental stimuli and gene expression regulated by the spatial changes in genome organization. In Paper I, by applying state of the art Circular Chromosome Conformation Capture assay (4C) and Chromatin in situ Proximity (ChrISP) techniques, we show that transcriptionally active circadian genes meet in space with repressed lamina-associated domains (LADs), and that these interactions are under the control of the circadian clock. 5. 5. Regulation of chromatin transitions in the 3D architecture of the nucleus

    Författare :Honglei Zhao; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis explores the dynamic features and functions of chromatin crosstalk in the 3D nucleus space, with a focus on the regulation of chromatin transitions. In Paper I we employed the circular chromosome conformation capture assay (4C) and Chromatin in situ Proximity (ChrISP) technique to uncover an inter-chromosomal chromatin fiber interactome comprising both transcriptionally active circadian genes and repressed lamina-associated domains (LADs).
