    Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna avhandling är att fördjupa förståelsen för algebrasvårigheter sett ur elevperspektiv och lärarperspektiv. För att studera detta har tre övergripande frågeställningar formulerats;- Vilka hinder för eleverna kan identifieras då kända algebrasvårigheter behandlas i lärandesituationer?- Hur kan dessa hinder för eleverna överkommas?- Vilka utmaningar för lärarna kan identifieras då kända algebrasvårigheter behandlas i undervisningssituationer?Fyra delstudier har genomförts och skapat underlag för att besvara dessa frågor.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with the social structure of ordinary life in an early modern Swedish town as seen from the perspective of women. The questions which are dealt with are: What kinds of social relations, in addition to those inside the family, were women in an early modern town involved in? How did these differ from the relations men were involved in and how did they differ with regards to the woman's social standing? To what extent did a woman's social relations change as a result of her civil status? What other factors could influence a woman's standing in the network of social relations upon which she was dependent, or influence the kind of network she tried to build? The focus of this study is centred on women from the craftsman guild as well as those located lower on the social scale. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The overall purpose was to evaluate patient-relevant outcomes in patients with knee injury and post-traumatic osteoarthritis of the knee. A self-administered questionnaire, The Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) was developed by literature search, consulting an expert panel (including patients referred to physical therapy because of knee-related problems, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists both from Sweden and the USA), and a pilot study.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis quantitative analyses of radionuclide concentrations in bioenergy fuels such as peat, wood chips and straw are presented.     Sammanfattning : Avhandlingen utgör en studie kring de s k storbönderna, en social elitkategori inom allmogen, och behandlar bl a kopplingen mellan en ekonomisk och en lokalpolitisk toppgrupp, i syfte att fastställa graden av homogenitet inom eliten. För att kunna belysa frågan undersöks storbönderna inom en socken under drygt hundra års tid (ca 1750-1850), där en tidigare studie (licavhandling) fungerar som ett avstamp - här har perspektivet vidgats ner till tidigt 1600-tal.
