  1. 11. The unseen in between: Unpacking, designing, and evaluating sustainability-oriented labs in real-world contexts

    Författare :Gavin McCrory; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; sustainability transformations; evaluation; sustainability; undisciplinarity; laboratories; systematic review; education; learning; Sustainability transitions; reflexive governance;

    Sammanfattning : We live in a time of compounding ecological and social change. Given its uncertain and urgent nature, contemporary forms of governance are experiencing tension between controlling the present and nurturing collective capacities to enact transformative change. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Career as an experiential learning voyage : Development of experiential assessment methodology in a lifelong learning context

    Författare :Jens Graff; George Tesar; Ron Mahieu; Bo Lemar; Marin Marinov; Umeå universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : This research is in the management discipline, more specifically in human resource management concerned with staffing. It examines a relatively new phenomenon: career changes by a special cadre of individuals who have advanced education and training, perhaps a doctoral degree in sciences, humanities, or engineering, and who, at the dusk of their careers, became entrepreneurial and strive to switch from an executive position in business to an academic post or vice versa. Sammanfattning : This thesis studies designs for learning in the extended digital interface in the Social Science classroom. The aim is to describe and analyse how pupils interact, make meaning and learn while deploying digital learning resources. Together with the thesis a multimodal design theoretical perspective on learning has developed: Designs for Learning. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Coteaching chemical bonding with Upper secondary senior students : A way to refine teachers PCK

    Författare :Felix Schultze; Pernilla Nilsson; Zimmerman Nilsson Marie-Helene; Anna Vikström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Coteaching; pedagogical content knowledge; pck; chemical bonding; representations; chemistry education; chemistry didactic;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to investigate how an experienced chemistry teacher gains and refines her pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) by cooperating with two grade 12 students (age 18) as coteachers while teaching chemical bonding in a grade 10 Upper secondary class. The study has been conducted from a sociocultural perspective, especially Vygotsky’s zone of proximal development (ZPD) (Vygotsky, 1978). LÄS MER

  5. 15. Incremental Clustering of Source Code : a Machine Learning Approach

    Författare :Tobias Olsson; Morgan Ericsson; Sebastian Herold; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Machine Learning; Naive Bayes; Source Code Clustering; Incremental Clustering; Software Architecture; Technical Debt; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Technical debt at the architectural level is a severe threat to software development projects. Uncontrolled technical debt that is allowed to accumulate will undoubtedly hinder speedy development and maintenance, introduce bugs and problems in the software product, and may ultimately result in the abandonment of the source code.
