12. Heterogeneous Degradation and Recyclability of PP Studied by Imaging Chemiluminescence
Sammanfattning : Oxidative degradation is a serious threat to long-term use and recyclability of polymers. Successful recycling of polymeric quality products requires characterization of the polymer material after reprocessing and use. LÄS MER
13. Hydrogeophysics of Tropical Africa : Recent advances and perspectives
Sammanfattning : In the present work an attempt is made to put into perspective the hydrogeophysical investigations for rural water supply carried out over the last two decades in tropical Africa, paying special attention to groundwater targets in the weathered rocks in and above the crystalline basement. The applicability of geophysical techniques in groundwater investigations in tropical Africa, particularly the DC resistivity and electromagnetic techniques is discussed in the light of recent developments in instrumentation, data collection and interpretation procedures. 14. Preparation and long-term performance of poly(ethylene-co-butyl acrylate) nanocomposites and polyethylene
Sammanfattning : The current study discusses the preparation and long-term performance of polymer composites used for various purposes under different ageing conditions. The first part deals with the preparation and characterization of polymer nanocomposites based on poly(ethylene-co-butyl acrylate) (EBA–13 and EBA–28 with 13 and 28 wt % butyl acrylate, respectively) and 2–12 wt % (0. 15. Working Conditions, Income Differences, and Sense of Coherence in Relation to Ill Health
Sammanfattning : The licentiate thesis explored the relationship between working conditions and wage income, and the relationship between working conditions and sense of coherence in relation to ill health, focusing on cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal pain, and psychological distress among the working population in Sweden. The studies were based on cross-sectional and longitudinal survey data (ULF and LNU), and on the Swedish census (FoB90) linked to the national cause of death registry. LÄS MER
